BIO WRAP™

Bio Wrap™ is a product made from cotton cellulose that has a high oxygen and low moisture barrier property; this means air can’t escape yet moisture can, eliminating moisture build-up and thereby extending the shelf life of many products. This cellulose Bio Wrap film can run on conventional equipment and be heat-sealed at temperatures of 180°F to 280°F during production or filling process; it can even be cold-sealable after opening, eliminating costly closures such as ziplock, clips or twist ties. This cellulose film and the bags made from it are biodegradable and compostable. Bio Wrap™ meets the ASTM 6400 D standard for composting, so unlike foil bags that cannot be recycled and can only go into a landfill, this film degrades in commercial composting. It can even go into cold home composting and the garbage disposal.
